Michelle is an artist who makes porcelain objects and installations. However, different materials such as salt, wax, glass, water, paper and thread have also found their way into her work.

She considers important connections between our physical and emotional landscapes by accessing ideas of place, containment, perception and the nuances of what we see and feel regarding everyday experiences that we are often to busy to appreciate.

As a believer in the importance of quality handmade things in our lives, she also makes tableware that explores her interests in food, design, craftsmanship, simplicity and the characteristics of porcelain.
